A veiled house has a mysterious charm of its own. Take a look at these pics…
Little birds such as sparrows, whom you could see hopping around earlier in pairs have gone extinct in Delhi. You just can’t find them anywhere. But ever since I started travelling daily for work to Noida, which is a border town of Delhi, I found, to my pleasant surprise, that they still exist here. Take a look at this pic. It was clicked on one rainy day, from a spot right outside my office building. There are so many little birds sitting on the electric wires overhead…
Inclusion of a young moon in a pic adds to its sassiness.
Delhi is famous for its historical monuments and gardens. Recently, while looking at Mayank Austen Soofi’s photos of Lodhi Gardens clicked at night, I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I took a stroll myself in one of these forts 0n a full-moon night under a star-spangled sky…I don’t think this will ever happen though. Being a working woman living in West Delhi, I don’t think I will ever have the courage or the inclination to dare to do this. Who knows what kind of beasts lurk in those shadows; pimps, rapists, drug addicts, kidnappers looking for ransom.
Anyway, till the time this dream comes true, I am keeping myself content with clicking pics at night in my safe, little neighborhood.
Here are some of them.
See how an audacious street bulb glares at the moon in the pic below!
You don’t need to go to fancy destinations to click beautiful pics. You can make them anywhere, wherever you are. I realized this yesterday while walking on my way to a grocery store on a relaxed Sunday. I have lived in this place for almost 32 years, but for the first time in my life I ‘saw’ with my inner eye certain things that I never noticed earlier. With my heart beating fast, I captured these views through my mobile phone. Here they are….
2. Special Flower: I got this pic by poking my mobile phone through an iron railing.
