We Delhiites have much to be delighted about in 2017. Monsoon has begun earlier this time; in June, instead of last week of July or first week of August as in previous years. So we didn’t have to bear the sweltering heat of summer for too long.
Here are some photos.

Thanks to the generosity of monsoon 2016, green carpets, like the one below, can be seen all over Delhi NCR…
Corporate rain takes its cue from stylish corporate buildings and falls with elegance and quiet dignity.
Finally, it’s raining all over Delhi…Today, there was a break in the morning and the sun dared to come out and wink through its cloudy veil…
By showering flowers on our feet, God reminds us that He loves us too…
Christina Georgina Rossetti’s poem, An Echo From Willowood, is the poem of the day today in Poemhunter.com. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that its words seemed to mirror so perfectly the feelings hidden in a photograph I clicked a day or two ago. Quite a strange coincidence indeed!
Now scroll down and take a look at both the poem and the pic.
“Oh Ye, All Ye That Walk in Willowwood”
“…Two gaz’d into a pool, he gaz’d and she,
Not hand in hand, yet heart in heart, I think…”
