Tik Tok, Tik Tok…A poem

Behind closed doors And windows We wait patiently For things to improve outside.

Tik, Tok, Tik, Tok, Tik, Tok… Time ticks away inside.

While the flowers. And leaves from pots Quietly Drop on the gate outside.

Miracles In Progress, A Poem

Naughty monsoon
Has arrived in Delhi.
Look how it blows bubbles
Into the huge sky,
Turns them into colossal
Rain clouds.
And the Sun laughs and joins in.
With whoops of joy and laughter,
They draw funny figures,
Miracles that disappear in seconds,
While we watch with wonderstruck eyes.

Monsoon 2017, Delhi

We Delhiites have much to be delighted about in 2017. Monsoon has begun earlier this time; in June, instead of last week of July or first week of August as in previous years. So we didn’t have to bear the sweltering heat of summer for too long.

Here are some photos.

A rainbow inside a car showroom! Can you imagine that? I never saw anything like this before during my last 13 years in the automobile industry.
